At Prestige Garage Floor Coating, we take great pride in our work and our attention to detail is impeccable. In 1996, Robert Hanson, the founder and CEO of GarageFloorCoating.com developed and perfected an innovative coating process, which has set the industry standard. This innovative technique remains the benchmark of the garage floor coating industry and has raised the bar to a new level by which all other garage floor coatings are measured. We do NOT acid wash your floor for preparation, and we do NOT exclusively use epoxy. These are inferior methods and products that have failed in the industry. We use diamond grinding floor machines to prep your surface and open the pores, then fill all the cracks and imperfections, then apply our base coat (1/3 epoxy for strength, 1/3 polyurea for durability and 1/3 rubberized membrane for flexibility, for when your concrete shifts and expands with temperature changes). Our base coat will absorb into the floor, seeking out the moisture and bonding molecularly with the concrete, creating an impermeable bond. Other products reject moisture, which all concrete has. Each job we complete is a customized application, since no two pieces of concrete are exactly the same. Then a second coat of our custom blend is applied, and the decorative and protective chipset of your choice is applied (534 colors to choose from). The forth step is to apply a primer coat of clear coat, followed by the last step, an additional coat(s) of clear coat including as much anti-skid as you desire. We can make your coating as smooth as glass or with as much grit as you would like. We have an exclusive partnership with Hendrix ThermoGuard, a radiant heat insulator used by NASA, to insulate your floors. At a very low cost, it can save you up to 30% on heating and cooling costs.
